Bot is AI Slop, it uses AI to (incorrectly) parse content, and automatically bans users without human intervention off of this incorrectly parsed content. It detects content not actually present and lacks the nuance of a human to understand context or timing. It bans retroactively for content it detects as violating rules which were made after the content was posted, and sends ban messages entirely written by AI.

I think there have been some misconceptions, Banwatch does not automatically ban users and simply inform the owners (who can then make an informed decision). While we do provide some pre-made bans; these are always chosen by a human (using the /ban command!)

What may have happened to cause confusion is that Banwatch informed you about your ban, because regardless if banwatch bans you or another bot; banwatch will inform you and offer you methods to appeal (or report incase of a false ban!).

Furthermore banwatch does not scan for content within the server because that is out of scope for this project.
