Message intents gives the bot permission to read messages in servers, which we use to score how many answers a question got so we can decide whether or not to send it to more servers. We also publish those answers to the author and our questions page so you can see what other people answered to the question across servers.
Members intents are so we can send the setup link to the server owner, find what servers you share with the bot and unlock premium features for servers.
If Discord approves these intents, you'll be able to add the bot to your server. We sent the request on Jan 6 2026.

A real case study: our very own emma's dome server lost a tonne of engagement after the person who did our qotd's left to focus on her growth towards her career.
After trying to take over myself, I found it hard to stick to the daily pattern and keep the community engaged. This qotd bot has automatic scheduling (paid feature, use .qotd command for free posting) so I didn't have to worry about remembering to post the questions. Not only that, but I was worried that using a qotd bot would remove the human and community aspect, but the bot shows who wrote the question, and the author can even react and reply to your answers!
Not as robotic and disconnected as regular qotd bots!

I love how everyone gets to submit their own questions across servers but $9/mo for premium [and to access auto posting] is kind of a joke. The website is pretty hard to navigate as well.

I'm thrilled that you like the concept! While most of the bot is already free, I am going to stick with autoschedule, queue and server streaks being paid features. However, you can still enjoy the bot for free just by using the .qotd command. Fortunately, the pricing you've referenced includes premium features for all of my bots, not just this one. I'd love to hear your feedback on what could ...
