High-Fidelity audio & video synthesis.
FWD Vocoder is a utility bot designed for high-quality audio synthesis. It uses a signal processing technique where a Modulator signal (typically speech) shapes the characteristics of a Carrier signal (typically a synth or noise source) to create a synthesized vocal output.
What makes this bot different:
- Comprehensive File Support: I integrated FFmpeg to ensure the bot handles more than just basic audio. You can upload video files (MP4, MOV, AVI) or audio files (MP3, WAV, FLAC), and the bot will automatically extract and convert them to 48kHz WAV for processing.
- Customizable Bandwidth: The /vocode command includes an optional width parameter (0-100). This allows you to manually adjust the frequency band resolution to change the clarity and texture of the output.
- Efficient Processing Queue: To maintain stability, the bot uses a queue system. This prevents the server from being overloaded when handling large media files and ensures every request is processed in order.
Commands & Usage:
/vocode [modulator] [carrier] | [width]: Upload your two media files and set the optional bandwidth. The bot will process the files and return a high-quality WAV file.
I built this bot for anyone who needs a quick, reliable way to generate vocoded audio for sound design projects, samples, or server fun without needing professional desktop software.
