The HeyFollowers bot allows a guilds members to follow other users and receive notifications outside the conventional tagging system.
How it works
- Invite the bot to your guild (from here)
- Members can now run "!hf follow [@user]" to follow another guild member
- The followed member can now tag the HeyFollowers bot with their message to notify all subscribed followers
