RetroMod

The goal of this project is to make a swear-moderation bot created using discord.js with Node.js v12

Inspiration:

We wanted RetroBot to moderate swears, however some people don't want to moderate swears. So, we made a seperate bot so that swear moderation isn't required.

Dependencies:

Currently, the components required to run this server are are a working Node.js instance and an installation of discord.js, leo-profanity, and google-profanity-words, which can easily be installed onto any Node-compatible machine by using the built-in package manager and running npm install <module> in the shell.

Commands:

There are very few commands since RetroMod is mainly an always-on swear moderator, but we have a few basic commands:

• rm help - Shows all commands for RetroMod

• rm info - Shows formal information about RetroMod

• rm about - Shows informal information about RetroMod

Always On:

Moderates swears, deletes them, and direct messages the message sender telling them not to swear.
