A bot to get new posts from a subreddit and post it into your discord server. Nothing more, nothing less.
Did you also get annoyed by all the RSS or reddit discord bots not working properly? Well so did I so I decided to make my own that just does what I need it to do.
So what does it do?
It checks a subreddit every few minutes for new posts and then forwards those posts to a discord channel of your choice. You (that is the owner of the discord server or anyone with a role that has one of the following permissions: manage server, manage channels, administrator) can watch as many different subreddits as you want in as many different channels as you want. And that is it. You cannot post with this bot, you cannot comment with this bot, you cannot subscribe to hot only with this bot, all you can do is get the new posts.
The 3 most important commands you'll need:
/reddit add [subreddit] [channel] Set up a new subreddit feed to be posted into a channel or change which channel it should be posted in.
/reddit remove [subreddit] Remove a subreddit from your server.
/reddit list Show which subreddits your server is currently subscribed to.
