Break the Chains

I have been writing to inmates in the U.S prison system for a while now and as of recently I've decided to take things a step further and start something that will encourage others to do the same.

At first I went a little overboard and wrote to as many inmates as I could—bad idea. This was a bad idea because most of them wrote back which then left me with the grueling task of keeping up with it all.

Hopefully this club will inspire others to do the unspeakable and start writing letters to inmates of their own. Knowing that a single letter has the power to change the life of someone in prison and hearing that getting a letter from me brightened their day made my heart smile, giving me even more reason to continue doing what I'm doing.
