10 years ago, the comet Charlotte ripped open the sky, changing the life of hundreds across the globe. The rare comet that only crosses the sky every couple hundred years, yet holds the power to change the world. Those affected by Charlotte don’t realize until they hit puberty, seeing as children starting as young as 11 find themselves gaining strange abilities, wielders of the illness. These abilities however do not last a lifetime, remaining during adolescence, but fading as the wielder reaches adulthood
