Lavender high was first created as a sanctuary for people who were not part of the human race but as time flew non-human species were more accepted in the world and it eventually went out of hiding and the school became more popular. Later on it accepted humans and non-humans alike and everybody went to school in harmony together. Now, there are normal classes and supernatural ones. Math and potions can both be attended to.
