During the 2nd World War, The Caucasus region was liberated from the monstrous claws of the Soviet Union by German forces. Shortly after the defeat of Germany, the nation of Georgia asserted control over the Caucasus, with a Nationalist Capitalist Authoritarian party, the National Conservative Front, at its head. Thus, the Democratic Republic of Greater Iveria was formed, immediately forming connections with the United States during the cold war, Iveria became l of the only capitalist nations in the former Eastern Bloc.
