This is to allow major characters to be claimed and roleplayed before the tension rises in the war arc. It is a soulmate AU. The mark is identical to your soulmate and it fills in with your soulmate's favorite color after meeting. If they die it turns black. If your soulmate tries to deny you as their soulmate and avoid you, it will start to fade away but not completely if one is still interested. What you write/draw on your body, your soulmate gets the same thing on theirs. This may prove some difficulties if you're always in battle and getting injured as your soulmate will feel the same pain.
