What can XIVEventBuddy do?

XIVEventBuddy is a Discord bot to manage your Final Fantasy 14 events in a very easy and user-friendly way. Every command is designed in such a way that anyone can set it up, regardless of your knowledge of how Discord works. Start by using /help to learn how to set up the bot in your server.

Important notes

At the moment the timezone for the bot is always the current time in England, that is BST (UTC+1) in summer or UTC+0 in winter. This is subject to change or become configurable in the future if the bot grows and there is a demand for it.

Story

There are many other similar raid helper bots out there but they have always irked me in one way or another. Either setting up is convoluted and needs a written guide, or they lock features such as integration with Discord server events behind a premium barrier, or similar. I decided to create my own bot originally for my first Free Company but as that got disbanded I decided to change the bot to a public one and publish it. Now it powers multiple servers and can power many more.
