🎲 What is Chronicler?

Chronicler is your session’s silent scribe—automatically recording and summarizing your TTRPG voice chats, so you can stay focused on roleplay instead of racing to take notes.

No more trying to remember what that NPC’s name was or how many side quests are currently on fire. Chronicler captures the conversation and crafts detailed, readable notes that keep your group grounded in the story.

✍️ What It Does

• 🎤 Transcribes Voice Chats – Joins your voice channel and records what happens, speaker by speaker.
• 📝 Generates Session Summaries – Converts each session into a clean, readable recap.
• 📚 Builds Campaign History – Session by session, it stacks up into a story archive.
• 🧠 Context-Aware Notes – Feed it campaign context via slash commands to help it recognize characters, settings, and plot arcs more accurately.

🚀 How To Use

1. Invite Chronicler to your Discord server
2. Run /hello or /help to get the basic setup steps
3. Use /campaign start to initialize a new campaign
4. Each player adds their character with /pc create
5. Once in a voice channel, use /join to begin recording and note-taking

🧪 Beta Access

Chronicler is still in beta, which means it's totally free to try and constantly evolving. We're testing new features regularly and looking for feedback from storytellers like you.
