⛏️ Diggy — Discord Digging Bot

Diggy is a cooperative, infinite-depth digging game for Discord servers. Your whole community works together to dig deeper and deeper into the earth, unlocking rarer loot, spending gold on upgrades, and racing other servers down the leaderboard.

How It Works

An admin runs /setup to place a dig panel in any channel. From there, members take turns clicking the Dig! button — no commands needed. Every dig pushes the guild deeper underground, and deeper means better loot.

Digging is a team effort. The cooldown is shared across the whole server, and the same person can't dig twice in a row — someone else has to take a turn first. Playing solo? The restriction lifts automatically after 15 minutes.

Zones

The deeper you go, the more dangerous — and rewarding — it gets.

• 🟫 Surface (0 – 49m) — Soft soil, humble beginnings
• ⬛ Stone Layer (50 – 199m) — Dense rock, real effort required
• 🟨 Deep Rock (200 – 499m) — Heat rises, gold awaits
• 🟦 The Abyss (500m+) — Ancient, infinite, unknown

Loot

Each dig has a 40% base chance of finding an item. What you find depends on how deep the guild has gone.

Surface (0m+)

Stone Layer (50m+)

Deep Rock (200m+)

The Abyss (500m+)

All gold and items go directly into the guild bank, shared by the whole server.

Cooldowns

Cooldowns are guild-wide — when anyone digs, the whole server waits. The wait grows with depth, encouraging active participation and making the deeper zones feel earned.

• 100m → ~54s
• 200m → ~1m 18s
• 500m → ~2m 30s
• 1,000m → ~3m 20s
• 5,000m → ~5m 20s
• 10,000m+ → ~6–8m

Cooldowns scale logarithmically beyond 500m — the game never hits a wall.

Upgrades

Gold in the guild bank can be spent on three upgrades, each with 5 levels. Upgrades benefit everyone in the server.

• Level 1 — 500g — +0.5m per dig
• Level 2 — 1,500g — +1.0m per dig
• Level 3 — 5,000g — +2.0m per dig
• Level 4 — 15,000g — +3.5m per dig
• Level 5 — 40,000g — +5.0m per dig

🔩 Speed Drill — Reduce Cooldown

• Level 1 — 750g — 10% reduction
• Level 2 — 2,000g — 20% reduction
• Level 3 — 7,500g — 35% reduction
• Level 4 — 20,000g — 50% reduction
• Level 5 — 60,000g — 65% reduction

📡 Treasure Detector — Find More Loot

• Level 1 — 1,000g — +10% find chance
• Level 2 — 3,000g — +20% find chance
• Level 3 — 10,000g — +35% find chance
• Level 4 — 30,000g — +55% find chance
• Level 5 — 75,000g — +80% find chance

Commands

• /setup (Admins) — Place the dig panel in a channel
• /pingrole (Admins) — Ghost-ping a role when the cooldown resets
• /dig — Check guild depth and cooldown status
• /bank — View the guild bank
• /upgrades — View and purchase upgrades
• /leaderboard — See the deepest-digging servers

Bot Permissions Required

• Send Messages — post and update the dig panel
• Embed Links — render embeds
• Manage Messages — delete ghost ping notifications instantly
