Important information

This Gitlost bot uses HTML scraping to fetch the latest posts of the Gitlost page on Twitter.

Note that:

This is ONLY a basic bot made for fun that COULD use the Twitter API to better utilize the fetching process to get more than 30 posts at once. (hence posts after 30 on Twitter get loaded using AJAX operations)

The Github link provided is a public repository holding version 1.1.1 of the project and is free to build upon.

If you're just adding the bot to your server instead of using the code for your own bot, this bot is hosted using a second machine that will be on from 08:30 CEST until around 23:00 CEST (times may vary during weekends)

Usage

The bot responds to the prefixes '!gitlost' or '!gl'. The help command is easy to call: '!gitlost | !gl help'.

'!gitlost | !gl register' command must be done from within the desired channel. (WIP to e.g. mention channels)
