Vantage

Welcome to Vantage, a 24/7 moderation and utility bot!

 

Prerequisites, kinda :P

When you first add Vantage to your Discord community, you will have a little setup to do to get some things ironed out for Vantage to perform properly.

If you decide to use the built in user verification system you will need to follow these steps:

1. Run the showini command to get a list of settings and what their current values are.
2. Optional. You may leave the settings how they are currently set or edit them with the setini command.
3. Either edit or add the following roles: 
   1. Muted (no send/talk perms)
   2. Validating (unverified member, access to only verify channel)
   3. Verified (access to all channels)
   4. Moderator (manage messages/roles, kick/ban perms)
   5. Administrator (admin perms)
4. Create a private text channel named verify, give access to the Validating, Moderator, and Administrator roles, remove access to the Verified role.
5. Use the !verify command in the verify channel to create the verification message.
6. Optional. Test the autorole feature by adding the Validating role to yourself and react to the verification message.
7. Now go through your channel categories and remove all access to the @everyone and Validating role.

These are the current commands, more coming soon:

★ showini - this command will show the current server config.

★ setini [setting] [value] - will change the current server config setting.

★ ban [user] [reason] - will ban the mentioned user from the current server.

★ kick [user] [reason] - will kick the mentioned user from the current server.

★ mute [user] [s/m/h/d] - will mute the mentioned user for the set duration.

- afk [reason] - will add the author to the afk list.

- agree - will verify a validating member for the current server.

★ purge [2-100] - will delete the amount of messages specified.

★ say [message] - will send a message from Vantage from the message provided.

★ embed [message] - will send a embeded message from Vantage from the message provided.

 

Useful Information

With Vantage you may change settings through your very own server config file, from setting a new prefix or how you want Vantage to welcome new members to your community. When new server config settings are added, the database will be reset. We will let you know ahead of time if you join our official support server when these new changes or resets occur.
