Ever wanted to watch a YouTube video in sync with your friends on Discord? ShareBot lets you do just that.

This bot allows you to watch YouTube videos at the same time as your friends on Discord! Example video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAT7VNTHios&feature=emb_title)

To use it, type "!watch" followed by a YouTube link or search term.
If multiple results are found, it will give you a list of videos to select from, which can be done by entering "!watch x", with x being the number you want to select.
The bot will then generate a link that you and your friends can click on to view the video.

It is ok but it needs to be online more. Also, could you please make it so it actually shares a video inside the vc and it doesnt just send a link because that is what I thought it would do!

Thanks for the review! Unfortunately having it share the video inside the VC is impossible, or else I, and many others, would have done it. Uptime is definitely something I'm trying to work on but where I've been busy it has slipped. The website (sharebot.xyz) does function standalone and is typically up more than the Discord bot.

An absolutely amazing bot! I use this in my Discord server to show my friends YouTube videos and we watch funny YTPs and all! One thing I would suggest implementing a feature that allows people to have user names in the watch room but other than that its a very cool bot!

most of the time it would not even find a video. If it did it would not even do the right one.

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with it. The bot just uses the YouTube API so all searches should work as if you were searching on YouTube. I will still look into these issues however. In the mean time try giving the bot a direct link to the video as opposed to a search term, you may find it's more consistent.
