If you listen to music while playing games, then this bot is for you! You no longer need to switch back to discord to write a command to skip a track. You can just say "play next track" to switch to the next track, or "stop playing" to pause.

The name is after the Greek muse of voice and song Aoede (pronounced ey-ee-dee).

Add this bot to your server, take your favorite YouTube playlist, write /play youtubeplaylisturl and you are good to go. You can start a game and use voice commands. For better performance use headphones.

Available voice commands: play next track - switches to the next track in the playlist play previous track - switches to the previous track in the playlist stop playing - pauses playing music play music - resumes playing music please play track name - searches YouTube for a track name and plays it immediately exit channel - bot stops playing music and leaves the voice channel

Available text commands: /play youtubeurl: Joins your channel to play music from YouTube. You can pass a YouTube playlist as an argument. /status: Displays status about what is playing right now. /help: Displays help on bot commands and behavior. /stop: Stops playing music, can be resumed later. /resume: Resumes playing music if it was stopped. /leave: Stops playing and leaves the channel. /next: Plays next track in the playlist. /previous: Plays previous track in the playlist. /version: Displays bot version.
