What is BackupBot?
BackupBot can restore your Server Members, if your server gets raided, nuked or deleted.
How does this work?
Your members verify via oauth2 from discord, if they verify, they access that we can pull you into any server, so as example your server gets raided, you can easily restore your members.
Step-by-Step Instructions ⚠️⚠️⚠️ NEVER DELETE YOUR SERVER ON DASHBOARD, YOUR AUTHORIZED MEMBERS WILL ALSO GET DELETED ⚠️⚠️⚠️
All steps should be done on our website (https://backupbot.xyz/)
- First, you create an account on our site and login.
- Now press Settings at the Server Category and create a server.
- Now you will see a Tab, where you have to add your currently Server ID and Role ID of the verified role. (BackupBot must be higher as the verified role)
- Now press save and set up your channel perms, allow @everyone to see verified channel and deny for your verified role to see the channel.
- Now deny for all your normal channels that @everyone can see them and that verified can see them.
- Now enter
/verificationin the verifiaction channel.
My server got raided, what should I do now?
- If you create a fully new server, you just change Server ID and Role ID on the Dashboard and enter /pull on your new server.
- If you keep your old server, just enter /pull.
