The Fivnex Group

Founded June 17, 2020 and incorporated [NOT INCORPORATED YET], Fivnex aims to support open-source projects, and build a better life. Our founder, Kai Lyons, originally formed Fivnex to host their projects to where collaboration is easier. Fivnex is so much more than that, now. Our aim, for now and forever, is to push the limits of software and invent astonishing things. We support technologies that will be a powerhouse of the future, and we will work to build. We will also work with and fund other open-source projects, whether financially or with hardware. Fivnex is a development group founded on commercializing open-source software. Everything we make is open-source to some extent. That is our promise. Fivnex will aim to be a for-profit, but we also want to give back as much as possible. We want to focus our earnings through donations under a future Fivnex Foundation, coming when we incorporate in 2021. We do not want to be a for-profit company, and what money we don't spend on projects will be donated to other non-profits in the open-source and privacy communities, as well as open-source projects. Fivnex wants to also aim to further women, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ people in technology. We strive to best include LGBTQIA+, different races and nationalities, and multiple genders and gender identities. This is not an empty promise, like other companies and groups. Our CEO is Pansexual/Polyamourus and Non-binary, and multiple staff members are LGBTQIA+ and non-whites. We also want to fight back discrimination in the workforce and diversify STEM and technology. Note, we still hire people based on ability above all else, while as bringing more LGBTQIA+, women, and people of color is a thing we strive to do, we also don't want to push ANY form of discrimination.

What we do

We are an OEM, software developer, and financial provider for open-source projects. We focus on Linux-based and open-source software.
