"The earth has died and the sun has burned away, yet we still live. Alien creatures threaten us at every turn, and we struggle to survive, yet we still do. Welcome to the year 2555, and we’re alive." Humans have somehow survived the bad ending of climate change, and are now living in one of four places. The planet Demetre, where only the richest of the rich live. It's a lush place full of alien flora and fauna and still under construction megastructures. The Planet Kronos-12, used as a penal colony, is a very hot and humid planet littered with tropical islands, a continent-spanning rainforest, two moons, great mountains, and colossal creatures. The Space Stations Terran-2 and Terran-3, built out of scrapped parts harvested from the dead station Terran-1, which is still in orbit of Earth, a shadow of it's former self. Terran-2 has a population of 3 billion, Terran-3 has 2 billion, and upper class civvies and wealthy-men are common. Cybernetic implants are becoming commonplace in Terran-3 and Kronos-12, a sign of status and wealth. Inequality runs rampant, with gangs and companies owning huge swaths of property and land. How do you fit into all this?
