Rhaenyra Targaryen, named the Princess of Dragonstone by Viserys himself, does not have the unbridled support the King had hoped for. While some support her claim, others stand by Aegon Targaryen, Viserys' eldest son. The Blacks and the Greens, respectively.

The King's death is imminent, and Westeros is on the brink of a civil war. Both Rhaenyra and Aegon cannot live for the war to end, however— one will have to die, lest the war become eternal.
