Gratopia (Archive)

Many of you might not know what Gratopia has to offer, here's a little bit about the server.

The point of Gratopia is to do whatever you want.

But if you want a real goal, the server is balanced to be an economy survival server. This means that there are some things you should make farms for to get more money on the server. This will get you on the leaderboards.

One of those things you could make would be a sugarcane farm. Since Gratopia has its own custom farming plugin, there are some custom and compact farm designs you can make to automate getting sugar cane. Type /warp tutorial to check that out.

Getting more money is the main goal of the server, this is helped by the use of sellwands. Sellwands are items that, when you right click a chest with them, it sells the contents inside the chest for the price they sell for on /shop + adds a multiplier. Example: if you have a 2x sellwand and you sell a piece of sugarcane in a chest with it, it will sell for double. You can find sellwands in Envoys (Random PvP events in WarZone) or in the sellwand crate, purchased with Mobcoins. We'll get into Mobcoins now.

Another big aspect of the server is Mobcoins. Mobcoins can be used to purchase Crate Keys. There are no other ways to purchase crate keys. Mobcoins can be obtained by killing mobs or by using spawners. Here's where Gratopia is different. Spawners on Gratopia are virtual, meaning no mobs spawn and it's all automatic (you can even stack them with eachother) You can see one of these for yourself if you place a spawner and right-click it, the GUI is very user friendly.

Economy not your thing? No problem, Gratopia has PlayerWarps! You can set your own public warps that players can visit. Want to run your own town? Set a playerwarp and advertise it in chat or on our discord server. Made a cool build and want to show everyone/have it be a "tourist" attraction? Set a playerwarp and advertise it in those same places.

You are rewarded for your playtime on Gratopia, type /levels in game to check it out. There's even a playtime leaderboard!

Still don't know what all we have to offer? Walk around spawn and check out the various NPC's. These NPC's were hand picked with features that should be viewed as important.
