Simple bot to schedule your announcements or planned posts.
Allows you to plan your announcements in advance.
You can use websites like https://discohook.org/ to generate your message, and then it's as simple as entering a channel and a date.
Don't forget, that the channel you are sending a planned message to must have a webhook.
Setup:
- Administrator runs
/configurecommand and sets the#channel, where bot is operated, and the@role, which can operate the bot.- It is recommended to use automatic setup
- Only server administrators and users with specified
@rolecan use the bot. - Bot will ignore all messages from other channels, except for
/configureand/helpcommands
Commands:
/configure- command for initial bot setup and future settings tweaking if needed/help- list of available commands and generally useful info/schedule channelor/schedule webhook- prepare a message to be sent sometime somewhere/planned- show list of currently planned messages/edit- edit planned message/repeat- repeat existing planned message (either each X minutes or according to cron schedule)/template create- create new template. Watch out for optional variables option (example)/template list- show existing templates/template delete- delete a template/template use- use a template as a "base" for your new scheduled message. Will replace%variables%with entered newvalues
Don't forget to change timezone in bot's settings to match your local time!

Edit: Thanks a lot! Great plugin! However I cannot stop repeating message. Is there a solution to stop repeating specific message? Also I did try to remove and reinstall the bot, it keeps repeating? I also deleted the webhooks that is set and it still repeating. Only solution is to set the once a year lol.

Ouch, repeating even after leaving the server is definately an oversight on my part. You can stop messages from repeating via buttons in the /planned command

I was skeptical because of so few reviews but it is a great bot, if you are on the fence, you should go for it. Just use https://discohook.org/ to make the embed, then use this Zimmy bot to schedule when/where that embed should be sent. It's like a middleman with embeds, basically, and lets you schedule it down to the exact minute (not by seconds, sadly).
