Discord D6 Bot

A simple discord dice bot.

This bot was primarily created for the role-playing game Coriolis.

Discord Commands

/roll

Specify how many dices to roll and how many sides they should have.

• /roll 8d6 – roll 8× 6-sided dice
• /roll 100 – roll 1× 100-sided dice (1-100)

Response:

8d6 ⇒ 1 2 4 4 4 4 5 6

The single letter is arbitrary, these are also valid commands:

• /roll 8w6
• /roll 8x6
• /roll 8t6

sum parameter

You can sum up the total with the sum parameter

• /roll 8d6 sum

Response:

8d6 ⇒ 1 2 4 4 4 4 5 6 – sum 30

/d6crit

This is a Coriolis specific command for crit rolls.

Response:

/d6crit ⇒ 36 – Punctured Lung
Stunned for one turn, then -3 to DEXTERITY.
Fatal: Yes, Healtime: 2D6, Time Limit: D6 days

Get a quick help summary.

Coriolis specific features

• If you roll one or more sixes, the bot reacts with 🎉
• If you roll no sixes or ones, the bot reacts with 💩
• If you roll at least three sixes, the bot posts a celebration gif

General features

• Dices are sorted numerical
• Highest dices are highlighted
• Maximum amount of dices: 512
• Maximum amount of sides: 1,000,000

Bot Permissions

The bot will request these permissions:

• Send Messages
• Attach Files (Celebration GIFs, see above)
• Add Reactions (React with 🎉 or 💩, see above)
