Steam power academy

Steam power academy was built in the mid 17th century to advance this new technology. Only some of the smartest people can go. Steam power academy is a boarding school so they stay there all year, and only leave for holidays and summer break. There are girls dorms, Boys dorms, for trans, nonbinary, gender fluent,etc they go in there birth dorms. When the RP takes place it’s 1849 and it’s about the school’s hundredth year celebration! Lately the advance in steam power has skyrocketed thanks to steam power academy’s students, but lately people have been breaking in and stealing inventions that the students and teachers made. The teachers and students have also released that since the stuff went missing there has been an increase in steam powered crimes, could they be related?
