The Common and United League of Orion

DPS is an online roleplaying game and political sim centered around the player nation of an ongoing stellaris game. In this season, players take up positions in the government, military, and other aspects of the national administration. The nation for this season is The Common and United League of Orion. A one-party revolutionary state sitting upon the ashes of the old world, and staring down another power on the opposite side of the galaxy. This opposite power, the Sovereignty of Rou’ii, is a conservative, aquanationalist power that dreams of remaking the world in the image of their own utopia. Players who join will be tasked with filling out different aspects of the government, like in the venerable upper house of the legislature, the smoke-filled rooms of the admiralty, the halls of the party elite, or deep in the labs of the Academy for the Humanities and Sciences. Though no matter where you go, you can expect to help play a crucial role in the politics and story of Orion. Of course, if being part of the politics isn’t your thing, you can choose to forgo a life in the spotlight, and instead choose to become a regular civilian. Detached from the political sphere, civilian players are generally left to make up their own stories, and to focus on the intricacies of their characters and their relationships.
