Linda's Owls

I gradually fell into the magnetic presence of the forest ahead. I could hear owls hooting from the mist. The twilight sky glistened, convincing me to go in. It was tempting, was I going to truly enter a new home, with new friends, new experiences? The legends said the Owl Royal would be angered if a trespasser came, then left. "Come in, child," an anonymous voice whispered, "A new beginning awaits you..."
