Church Of The Children Of Atom

It’s the Year in 2296, only four years until the turn of the century, and the once soulful city of New Orleans is only a shattered memory of the American Spirit. Only four years ago did the scavengers presiding in the city decide to restore it to its former self. Rusted trumpets began to blow in the streets, and vendors popped up along the streetside. In only weeks had the city become the main hub of the Gulf Commonwealth. But only recently has the threat of a ghoul hoard from the north affected the party lives of the city's inhabitants. The once bustling city had once again gone back to hiding, with little hope in their hearts for a better tomorrow. Throughout history, religion has been a source of need within ancient civilizations. A reason to live. The people of New Orleans were no different, and soon the Church of the Children of the Atom was established. A group so infamous for their twisted ideas and unpacifist ways. Still, there may be hope for this group of strays.

This Server is based around the Fallout role-playing games by Interplay Entertainment and Bethesda Softworks. Though this is a ‘roleplay’ server, is it not used for text roleplay. There will be no OCs or playable characters. The servers members will be able to impact the story through a given set of actions, server events, and actions proposed and approved by confessors (Admins). There are five levels of membership within the community, each ranking the amount of permissions and level of moderation the member gets. These are not given through applications, but through careful handpicking and being active within the community. We offer a variety of channels, each themed around the church of atom, or the fallout world. There are channels specifically for music, fallout, and welcoming new followers. We will have events relating to the “lore” of the server and occasional posts furthering the story in their own respective channels. You can think of this as an ARG with RPG aspects set in the fallout world. Players are inspired to message “in character” or as if they are in the church itself but are discouraged from text roleplaying. This is a very ambitious project so it would be very gracious if you would join and participate. I am always looking for help with the story and possible artists that can help further the immersion. I do not claim any credit for the Fallout Franchise, the Children of Atom, or any franchise material that may be used in this. However, the city of New Orleans (In the fallout world), and any lore pertaining to it and their Children of the Atom are created by me unless A game exists to contradict this in the future.
