The Argent Crossroads is a Dungeons and Dragons 5e Oneshot server, set in our custom setting of Argent with an expansive list of playable homebrew and Wizards of the Coast content. 

You play as an adventurer who's joined the floating city of Argent in hopes of riches, adventure, or whatever it may be. With text based roleplay, regular games from staff and other players alike, and other community events to keep you engaged.

Our goal is to create a welcoming and friendly community, that utilizes the base rules of 5e and changes them just enough that the server thrives regardless of player count. With enjoyment and balance on the forefront of our minds, we hope you enjoy your stay here.

Opportunity is flowering in Sear. This bowl-shaped world, where the horizon bends up and all the land curls itself before your view, lies directly opposite a distant twin with whom it has only recently made contact. This sister world, Sedden, brings aboard their airships the uncertainty of new technology: primitive firearms, mechanical baubles, and other wonders that the magic kingdoms of Sear have never borne witness to. Far to the south of Sear, a small town and guild of adventurers grows in this changing world...

You've awoken in the small village of New Flame, with only distant fading memories of your life before. An ashen stone rolled from the Boiling Pools, cracked open to reveal your soundly sleeping form wrapped in ceremonial white cloth trimmed with silver lace. You have become Ashen Born, and you've no way to return to what was before. Your new home is a ruined and ransacked town full of hopeless wretches akin to yourself, having abandoned thought of stepping beyond the towns walls. Many have died attempting to do the same, and after all, it's safe here.

Supposedly, great beasts inhabit the lands beyond. Many choose to venture outside of New Flame in hopes of answers, and a way home. The terrifying roars of those who call the wastes home are followed shortly by screeches of terror, cries of pain, and then silence. The desert sands to the east carry sound surprisingly well. A horrific warning that almost seems by design.

Despite this, you are not content to wither away with the other cowards. Scavenging for supplies in the ruins, eating nothing but birds, lizards, rats, and the occasional wild vegetable as a luxury.

You cannot accept that there is no purpose for your arrival, you will not lay down and rot like so many of those who came before you, and you are not willing to die here without a fight.
