MARED

A professional discord bot made for moderation with many cool music commands and logging system for everything happens in your server. We haven't forgotten the utility and general commands.

Configuring MARED

There is a config command to configure the logging system and to set other important things like the mod role, mute role...etc

Steps to configure and prepare the bot so you don't get any alerts about configuring a missed option:

-config set mod <role> # Configure the moderation role for your server
-config set mute <role> # Configure the mute role so when someone gets mute the bot automatically assign them the mute role

Logging System

To configure the logging system you should first set the log channel with the following command:

-config set log <channel>

To configure the events that will be logged you can use:

-logs <event>

• If you want to know the events that are logged and the events that are not logged use:

-logs

Music Mode

The music mode is for specifying who can use the music commands, the options are "member" and "dj" (Default: member).

To allow only members that have the DJ role to use music commands, use the following command:

-config set music dj

• When you set the music mode to dj then you need to set the DJ role using the command:

-config set dj <role>

To allow any member to use the music commands without or within having the DJ role, use the following command:

-config set music member

Prefix

For configuring the prefix you can use:

-prefix <new_prefix>
or
@MARED#0272 prefix <new_prefix>

• If you don't remember the bot's prefix you can use:

@MARED#0272 prefix

You will get a response of the current prefix set on your server.

Black List

You can prevent any member you want from using the bot commands by adding them to the blacklist. To configure this you can use:

-blacklist <member>

If you want to allow the member you blacklisted to use the bot commands you can unblock him with the command:

-unblacklist <member>

Moderation Notes

• If the mod role has not been set, the moderation commands will be allowed directly to the administrators only.

• If any member got muted then left and rejoined the server before the mute duration expires, they will get muted until the mute duration expires.

Music Notes

• Sometimes when you listen to the music, you will notice that the song stopped and then continued again, that means the bot was restarting due to some mistakes that we fix and some things we add. So don't worry if the song stopped and then continued again, the song will be continued where it left off.

Available in the future

There will be a security (automod) system made soon to deal with raids.

The bot is still under development so a lot of things will be added.
