With one simple command, your users can start having organized discussions.

Your moderators can use moderation commands to lock, edit or delete any thread so it can follow your servers rules.

No need to worry about having inactive channels clogging up your server. You are able to specify how long a channel can remain inactive before it's removed from the server, making room for new discussions.

Getting Started

Invite the bot to your server! If you let it join with default permissions, everything will have been setup for you and Threadstorm will be ready for use.

For additional guild settings you can change, please use .thelp settings. Likewise, if you're ever stuck use .thelp, join the support server or check out the docs.

Brief Overview of Commands

Why it needs the permissions it request:

Manage Channel: This is needed so it can create channels and delete channels when they are deemed inactive. When you invite this bot to your server, it will create a category named "threads" which is the default location all threads will be put. This also allows the bot to lock/unlock threads.

Manage Messages: When a thread is created, it will pin the original post (In the channel the bot makes). This also always the bot to clean up messages used to create a thread so your channels are as clean as possible.

Manage Roles: Needed to lock/unlock threads.

View Audit Log: The bot will attempt to move channels/threads back into their respective channels if they weren't deleted properly.

Known issues:

Sometimes, the bot will not post a 24 hour warning if a thread is about to expire.
