A bot designed to track the most common words and mentions on a server

NOTICE: As of the Discord API TOS update, WordCount can no longer function. We are waiting for Discord to open the messages content API up to statistics bots.

This bot is designed to track the most-used words and most-mentioned users on a server. Every message is split into individual words and the words are counted individually. Note that while word1 is considered a word, 12345 is considered a number and will not count towards the stats. Additionally, messages from bots will be ignored completely; this is to prevent spamming.

This bot will also track channel statistics. Messages longer than 1024 in length will not be scanned for words. Indidvidual words must also be less than 50 characters in length.

Commands

top returns the most used words in the server. This may take an optional channel parameter
dict returns the most used dictionary words in the server. This may take an optional channel parameter
nondict returns the most used words (that are not in the dictionary) in the server. This may also take an optional channel parameter
mentions returns the most mentioned users in a server. This may take an optional channel parameter
word [word] returns data about a word. This may take an optional channel parameter before the word
mention [user] returns mentions for a user. This may take an optional channel parameter before the user
stats returns the stats for the whole server
help displays the help command

Works well for me, use command ".help" to get the commands. Should have an option to get earlier messages stats

Dude I don't know what people are saying this bot doesn't work. It truly works. This is amazing! There should be more bots like this. Absolutely mind-blowing! It has a little delay, but otherwise amazing!

Every command works, and it’s interesting and almost fun to look at the word usage in my servers. There are a lot of different commands that make it really good!

My friends got curious at what word(s) were most frequently said since the server recently hit 1 MIL messages, added the bot to check but it only starts recording when you add it, doesn't scan whole server history! Not sure if that's possible, but would be nice.
