Description

Project purpose by a discord server. The objective of this project is to create a bot to get the date of birth of a user and check if this user is more of 18 years or less. The bot will give the "member role" to the user if he is 18 or more.

The bot will be created in RUBY for rising my knowledge of IT language and simplify the use of regex.

Use the bot

command	description
cconfig	Display the configuration of the server and the status
cconfig channel	Allow you to set the channel of listenning
cconfig staff	Allow you to set the staff role
cconfig membre	Allow you to set the member role
crun	To apply the configuration and run your bot on the server

Example

On a server with a channel "give_me_your_age" for listenning, a role staff "great_staff" and a role member "great_member".

For to add the bot on your server you must click on this link to be administrator : bot_link. And select the server you want the bot to go in !

When you have this great bot on your server, you can run the command cconfig to see what you must configure !

So, we are going to configure the listenning channel with the command cconfig channel.

After, we are going to give at this bot, the member role, with the command cconfig membre.

And to finish, we are going to give at this bot, the staff role, with the command cconfig staff.

Now, we are going to see, with the command cconfig if it is ok !

And we can run the bot, on this server, with the command crun !

And it's fine !

You can now use this bot on the channel give_me_your_age

Don't forget to give the right permission, so the bot can give the member role ! I recommand to put the role "ageChecker" above the member role on the list !
