RynBot

EDIT 04/20/2020: The information below the divider was written a long time ago (at least 2 years). I've recently started an overhaul that will add a lot of moderation features. Once I get further along in the process, I'll update this info. If you're thinking about using this bot, and have a feature in mind you'd like to have, please let me know! I'd be glad to work with you to make this bot as useful as possible.

Right now, this bot is pretty minimal. I'd like to expand it, but right now life is pretty busy. It'll probably be a few months at least before I can make any significant changes. Notable commands include:

• chart: Make a chart (done on-the-fly). It takes one argument, which must be one of the following:
  • games: A bar chart of games currently being played on the server.
  • games_pie: A pie chart of games currently being played on the server.
  • roles: A bar chart of roles on the server and how many users hold each role.
  • users: A graph of the server's population. See the help notes for more details.
• nowplaying: Display a list of users currently playing a game. Takes one argument.
• nowstreaming: Display a list of users currently streaming, with links to their streams.

On my peronal server only, it also handles role assignment and a simple starboard.

My goals for the future are:

• Moderation tools: Things like locking channels in case of raids, language filters, etc.
• Better analytics: Currently, all analytics are done on the fly, with no historical data. For example, the "users" chart above doesn't really show the server's size over time because it excludes anyone who has left the server. Keeping a historical database would improve this.
• Customization: I'd like to work with communities to put in the features you need! Stop by the support server and let me know if there's something you'd like to see added to RynBot.
