NOTICE: As of the Discord API TOS update, WordCount can no longer function. We are waiting for Discord to open the messages content API up to statistics bots.

This bot is designed to track the most-used words and most-mentioned users on a server. Every message is split into individual words and the words are counted individually. Note that while word1 is considered a word, 12345 is considered a number and will not count towards the stats. Additionally, messages from bots will be ignored completely; this is to prevent spamming.

This bot will also track channel statistics. Messages longer than 1024 in length will not be scanned for words. Indidvidual words must also be less than 50 characters in length.

Commands

• top returns the most used words in the server. This may take an optional channel parameter
• dict returns the most used dictionary words in the server. This may take an optional channel parameter
• nondict returns the most used words (that are not in the dictionary) in the server. This may also take an optional channel parameter
• mentions returns the most mentioned users in a server. This may take an optional channel parameter
• word [word] returns data about a word. This may take an optional channel parameter before the word
• mention [user] returns mentions for a user. This may take an optional channel parameter before the user
• stats returns the stats for the whole server
• help displays the help command
