Routemaster RM1822

History: February 1964, RM1822 was based at Tottenham garage & worked on routes 41 & 123. April 1964 transferred to Croydon. July 1967: Sent to Aldenham busworks for a repaint. 1968: Bodyswap with B1769. 1990: Fitted with an Iveco engine. 1995: Moved to Brixton and was repainted red & cream, branded exclusively for route 159. 1997: Painted again, in red with a yellow band, staying on route 159. 1998: Bought by Arriva. June 2004: Re-registered with numberplate EYY 772B & worked on route 137. Just one month later it was withdrawn from route 137 & went into store at Brixton Tram Shed. August 2004: Sold to Ensign Bus, Purfleet, who in that month sold it to Trustline, Hunsdon. April 2005: Sold back to Ensign Bus. May 2005: Bought by Carl English from Brighton. 2009: Undergoing restoration and repainting in 159 livery.
