Memolin

Memolin is a Discord bot that records voice meetings, transcribes them, and generates AI meeting notes automatically. Run /join in a voice channel to start recording. After the meeting, Memolin posts structured notes with key points, decisions, and action items. You can review results via /notes and the web dashboard. Core capabilities include high-accuracy transcription with speaker separation, support for 100+ languages, simultaneous recording across multiple voice channels in the same server, and management controls such as channel/user restrictions. Meeting analytics are being rolled out progressively. Memolin currently focuses on Discord-first workflows, with external integrations planned based on user demand.

Permissions & Access

Memolin uses slash commands and only needs specific permissions per feature.

• Core usage (/help, /join, /leave, /status, /notes): View Channels, Send Messages, Read Message History, Connect, Speak, Use Voice Activity
• Recording panel display: View Channel in the target text channel
• Server configuration (/manage): Manage Server (or Administrator)
• Optional manager-role setup: Manage Roles

If a required permission is missing, the related feature may not work until the permission is granted.
