Sentinel tracks bot presence in real time, using five standard Discord statuses: • Online • Offline • Do Not Disturb • Idle • Streaming

These statuses represent the bot’s actual presence and behavior. While you can’t change the underlying status itself, Sentinel now lets you customize how each status is labeled when it’s displayed.

This means you can rename how a status appears in alerts, monitoring messages, or channels — without affecting how the status works behind the scenes. For example: • Do Not Disturb can appear as Maintenance Mode • Idle might show up as Standby • Streaming could be labeled Broadcasting

This feature gives you the flexibility to tailor Sentinel’s language to fit your workflow, team culture, or server style. Whether you’re managing bots in a dev environment, gaming server, or production system, custom labels make it easier to communicate status in a way that makes sense to your users.

Custom labels are applied per monitor and are immediately reflected anywhere Sentinel reports status updates — including voice or text channel notifications.
