Discord bot that uses extractive text summarization to summarize text. Made completely in Python just for fun and to learn how to create Discord bots.
Creates a frequency table using the frequency of words in the text, then assigns a score to each sentence. Stop words like "is, an, a, the, for" were removed since they provide no value to the summary. The more frequent the words were in the text, the higher the value they were given. Therefore, the bot's algorithm was based on a sentence's relevancy correlating to the frequency of high value words
