Voicy is the online content platform for discovering, creating and sharing sound-clips and sound-effects on the internet.

THE AHA MOMENT

The idea for Voicy was created when we discussed our love for content platforms like Giphy, 9GAG and Reddit. We came to realize the immense strength of memes and gifs as communication tools. You might agree on the fact they have completely changed the way we digitally communicate.

So we were debating about what would be next… We use standardized and moving pictures withing social media communication but what about… sound? With the increasing use of digital technologies and smart objects, sound is playing an even more important role in our everyday life interactions. So from one thing came another. We started building a platform (www.voicy.network) that enables you to discover, share and create sound-clips for social media!
