MM Companion Bot

Pre Req: You must have a league on mymadden.com

The MM Companion Bot was designed to be a tool to enhance the functionality of MM. The first command was made to automatically create game channels and has grown from there!

1. Create channels command assumes you have team names set up as roles in your server.

Example Patriots user is assigned a role Patriots. Make sure in the role settings you select the role is allowed to be tagged by anyone.

/createChannels

The command parameters are mymaddenleaguename: the abbreviation of your league on my Madden, such aesl. Category: Select the category where you want all of the game channels to be posted in. Week number: The week you want channels posted for. You can do these in advance assuming all weeks are synced before hand.

2. Delete Channels

/deleteChannels

This will delete ALL channels in a specified category, be careful with this one. To run all these commands, the user of the mod needs the "manage channels" permission on their role, so not anybody can do this.

3. Find duplicate abilities

This feature is for leagues where you have some restrictions on abilities. In a few of my leagues, you can't have duplicate abilities from a specific set. (tiers 1-3 on this site https://www.madden-school.com/abilities/)

For the command, you supply your league name from mymadden, such as aesl. You select if you want tier4 abilities excluded from the duplicates (select yes or no), you can also select if you want to know if a team has more than one apprentice ability, by selecting yes on that third option. The bot will then post all the duplicates. You might want to do this in an admin channel if you don't want the whole league to see.

4. User vs User record and User vs Conf record

/uservsuser record or /uservsconf record

Supply your mm league name and the abbreviation for the two teams, ie phi and car for eagles and panthers.

5. Generate Game Recap

/generategamerecap

Provide your league name and teamname to generate a game recap for the current week (assuming you've played and MM is synced), or specify a previous week. It uses your score, stats and other data to generate a game recap from chat gpt!
