I am The Obamacare, you may be wondering, what is this server about? This server is about The Caretaker, this server is like, The Carebear, The Caretaker, The Caretaker Fan Projects server, you name it! If you don’t know who The Caretaker is then GTFO, nah I’m just kidding. The Caretaker is a long-running project by English ambient musician Leyland James Kirby (born 9 May 1974). His work as the Caretaker is characterized as exploring memory and its gradual deterioration, nostalgia and melancholia. Initially, the project was inspired by the haunted ballroom scene in the 1980 film The Shining, with his first several releases consisting of treated and manipulated samples of '30s ballroom pop recordings. His first album was The Haunted Ballroom, it was a trilogy that lasted from 1999-2003. His most famous project was his last. Everywhere At The End Of Time, which consisted of 1890s-1940s music with the main song being the Heartaches cover by Sid Phillips & His Melodians with Albert Allick Bowlly and Heartaches by Seger Ellis.
