𝐋ong ago, the Elder Gods grew tired of their lonely existence and strict rules. They desired a new life; one where they could take a mortal form and live.. freely. Unbound from the chains of order and power. They converged their powers to create a very lush and fertile realm with slowly aging inhabitants: Edenia. As it was the first realm carefully crafted by the Gods, the coveted ethos of their power lies deep within Edenia, keeping it rich and beautiful for all eternity.

Eventually, a large portion of their magic seeped from Edenia and flowed through every part of the ever-expanding universe. This created thousands of realms, most of them being smaller in size and less dense than Edenia. But out of that mass, five more realms in nearly equal measure to Edenia came to be. These realms were Outworld, Earthrealm, Netherrealm, Chaosrealm, and Orderrealm. The imbalance of magic throughout the other realms caused them to be completely different from one another. However, the majority of the Elder God’s power remained within Edenia.

For each of the six realms, each of the Elder Gods decided to be the protector of their inhabitants. While still accompanying the heavens, they periodically return to the realms in their mortal forms.

But despite the wonderful creations of life and beauty throughout the universe, evil never rests.
