How to use GhibliGuessrBot

The bot has two main features:

• A screenshot quiz mini-game (GhibliGuessr)
• A trading card collection game (GhibliTCG)

Both can be used independently from each other for the most part.

GhibliGuessr

This is the screenshot quiz mini-game. It's a lite version of the full game at ghibliguessr.com. You will be shown random frames from all Studio Ghibli films and the goal is to identify which film a frame belongs to. The game ends when you pick the wrong answer, so think twice before you choose!

Commands

Note: [brackets] represent required arguments, {braces} represent optional arguments.

• /play [buttonstyle] > Start a new game with buttons. buttonstyle can be icon, short or long
• /playthread > Start a new game in a thread (type the film titles yourself)
• /playselected {films} {buttonstyle} > Start a new game with your selected films only
• /aliases > View accepted film title aliases that can be used in /playthread games
• /ranking > Server leaderboards (also shows GhibliTCG rankings)

GhibliTCG

In the trading card game you can collect cards of your favourite Ghibli characters. Cards of increasing rank (C, B, A, S, S+) are increasingly hard to obtain. Trade your duplicates with other players to complete your collection faster.

Commands

• /roll > Roll a character card (cooldown: 1hr)
• /superroll > SuperRoll a character card: guaranteed B quality or higher (once per day, cost: 10 coins*)
• /trade [mycard] [otheruser] [theircard] > Trade a card with another user
• /wish [card] > Set your wished character card (see Wishing below)
• /collection {user} > View your card collection. Optional: view other user's collection
• /dupes {user} > View your duplicates. Optional: view other user's duplicates
• /viewcard [card] > View a card
• /allcards {film} > Show a list of all available cards, organized by film
• /profile {user} > View your profile. Optional: view other user's profile
• /ranking > Server leaderboards (also shows GhibliGuessr rankings)

*Coins are earned in the GhibliGuessr game (/play or /playthread). Each correct answer earns you a coin!

Wishing

• Using /wish [card], you can wish for a character card.
• You can only wish for S rank cards
• Once you've set your wished card, the next S rank card you roll will have a 50% chance of being your wished card. If it is not your wished card then your next S rank roll after that will be guaranteed your wished card.
• Don't forget to change your wished character after obtaining it! (Unless you're collecting duplicates)

Final remarks

• Most application (slash) commands are available as text commands as well (default prefix: gg!). E.g.: gg!roll can be used instead of /roll. For more complex commands like /trade, the application command version is recommended because it supports autocompletion for its arguments.
• GhibliTCG is still a work in progress, as more cards from all Ghibli films will be added over time.
