EthicalModeration is an AI-powered Discord bot designed to assist moderation teams in making fair, consistent, and proportionate decisions without bias or overreaction. By analyzing message content directly via Groq’s high-speed inference API, the bot autonomously evaluates whether a message warrants action and recommends an appropriate response: from "nothing" for harmless messages to "ban" for severe violations like hate speech or threats. Moderators simply use /check [message_link] to receive an instant, explainable recommendation complete with confidence score and clear justification. The bot adapts to your server’s culture through three lenience modes which are lenient, mild, or harsh and saves preferences across restarts. Built with privacy and transparency in mind, EthicalModeration never stores message content, shows outputs only to authorized moderators and requires no dangerous permissions. It’s not an enforcer, but it’s a thoughtful second opinion, helping communities stay safe while respecting free expression.
