A configurable search and feed bot for the website e926.net.

In order to have the bot post to a channel, a feed must be created using !feed set and an optional mentioned channel. Any extra text afterwards is used to set a filter, based on the default search terms, except slightly modified

• !feed set (wolf feral) | dragon would post every new image that is both tagged wolf and feral or has the dragon tag.
• !feed set *_legs would post every new image that has a tag that ends with _legs.

You can also set server wide filters as well, which are applied in addition to channel filters

• !feed server set -human would filter out every image in all channels that contains the human tag.

When a new image is uploaded to e926, it will be posted to the channel if it passes the filter on the channel. If a channel is marked SFW, an automatic filter will be added, excluding any mature content. Filter grammar:

• rating: [s|q|e]
• user: <the uploader's username>
• type: <a filetype (jpg, png, gif)>
• <tag>

Complex tags: Tags which contain any of the characters -|:() must either have these values escaped with \ or quotes. The correct way of filtering for pokémon_(species) is one of:

• "pokémon_(species)"
• 'pokémon_(species)'
• pokémon_\(species\)

You can also set server wide filters as well, which are applied in addition to channel filters

• !feed server set -human would filter out every image in all channels that contains the human tag.

Filters can be combined together using AND ( ), OR (|), NOT (-) and BRACKETS (()), in reverse priority order.

Feeds can be created in DMs using this group of commands.

Searching:

Search with !search <filter>. Results are posted 3 at a time and can be posted individually by reacting with the corresponding digit. To scroll, use the left and right arrow reactions as appropriate.

Ordering searches:

Searches can be sorted with the order keyword. Valid ways to order searches are as follows:

• score
• score_asc
• id
• id_asc
• fav_count
• fav_count_asc
• file_size
• file_size_asc
• random

You may use multiple order keywords. order: score order: fav_count will sort the results firstly by score and then fav_count, resulting in the highest scored image first and when a tie for score occurs, sort by fav_count instead. _asc sorts in reverse, which may have unintended consequences, especially when used with score.

Hearts: When reposted, the bot will react with a blue heart. React also to have the bot DM you the image posted. This works on any individually posted message, including feeds.

Rate limiting: Searching is an expensive operation to perform. Thus it is limited to 5 pages unless you vote for the bot on DBL, this gives you unlimited pages to view for 24 hours and supports the bot.
