Current Features

Help command.

• show the help message: !dnd help

Dice rolling.

• basic roll: !dnd roll [number of dice]d[die type] (1d4, 2d8, 33d20, etc.)
• roll with modifier: !dnd roll [num]d[type] [+/-] [modifier] (2d4 + 2, 1d20 - 2, 33d20 + 330, etc.)
• roll with advantage or disadvantage: !dnd roll [num]d[type] [a/d], !dnd roll [num]d[type] [+/-] [mod] [a/d] where a signifies advantage and d signifies disadvantage (2d4 a, 1d20 + 2 d, etc.)
• note: roll can be replaced with r

Searching. Uses DnD 5e API

• !dnd search [query]
• note: search can be replaced with s

Initiative Tracking.

• start tracking initiative: !dnd initiative start [name1]:[init#],[name2]:[init#],[name3]:[init#],...
  • example: !dnd initiative start volo:12,drizzt:18,strahd:22,tav:3
  • names and initiative numbers must be separated by colon characters ':'
  • there cannot be any spaces between the names
• cycle to next player in initiative: !dnd initiative next
• remove player from initiative: !dnd initiative remove [name]
• add player(s) to initiative: !dnd initiative add [name1]:[init#],[name2]:[init#],...
• view initiative: !dnd initiative
• stop tracking initiative: !dnd initiative clear
• note: initiative can be replace with init or i in all these commands

Character Sheets.

• add a character: !dnd character add [name] [lvl],[hp],[ac] [attributes] where attributes are: (str,dex,con,int,wis,cha)
  • !dnd character add Volo 3,25,13 8,10,16,18,13,20 note the space between lvl,hp,ac and the attributes
  • once you create a character that character will be registered as the current character. All future character commands will be run for this character
• switch current character: !dnd character switch [name]
• view current character: !dnd character view
• set property of character: !dnd character [character name] set [property name] [value]
  • !dnd character set image bit.ly/2L2kvgV
  • !dnd character set gold 100
  • !dnd character set notes "these are some notes about the character, be sure to encose them in quotes"
    • notes will be appended to the end of each other, if you want to clear your notes for a character type:
    • !dnd character [name] set notes clear
• remove a character from your list: !dnd character remove [name]
• view all characters: !dnd character list
• view valid properties: !dnd character list properties
• view help for character commands: !dnd character help
• note: character can be replace with c in all these commands

Spellbooks. (WIP)

• create a spellbook for a character: !dnd sb create [name]
  • once you create a spellbook for a character that character will be registered as the spellbook character. All future sb commands will be run for this character
• switch spellbook character: !dnd sb switch [name]
  • !dnd sb switch volo
• add spell to spellbook: !dnd sb add [spell] [level]
  • !dnd sb add Mind Sliver 0, 0 signifies a cantrip
  • !dnd sb add Fireball 3
  • !dnd sb add Wish 9
• view spellbook: !dnd sb view
