<li>arguments in this bot are used for commands example like the, mute command the first argument is the member which you have to mention a member if you see the <code>&lt;&gt;</code> argument that's a required argument but if you don't see that argument you may see this <code>[]</code> that is what you call an optional argument if the have something like this <code>[-reason]</code> the <code>-</code> symbol in it is a text argument.</li>
