Empower your server's members with unique, customizable roles!

Dye enables your server's members to customize their very own custom role, while preventing impersonation.

Dye is incredibly easy to set up. Just give it a role with Manage Roles permission and ensure that role is above any other roles that members will have when using Dye.

Dye is also very easy to use. It consists of two core commands: /name and /color. The former allows members to change the name of their custom role, while the latter allows them to change the color of their custom role. Both commands prevent impersonation.

By default, Dye is accessible to all users. However, it can be configured, for instance, as a perk. You can lock the /name and /color commands to specific roles by changing the command's permissions, and Dye will automatically assign and remove custom roles based on whether members have or no longer have access to these commands.

Dye is designed to prevent impersonation of other roles, particularly staff roles. It prohibits custom roles from being named identically to any other role and restricts custom role colors from being similar to any other roles.

You can customize a list of blocked terms and words, as well as the specific color difference required for custom roles compared to other roles, using the /settings command.
